Turn and Face the Strange

Percival was more nervous than he let on and it showed in his sleep. Tossing and turning and mumbling in his sleep.

He really was uncertain about Arthur's and Merlin's reaction. He woke up and it was eleven at night--making it three in the afternoon. He went and took a hot shower and soon came back in a bathrobe and began going through his suitcase for something to wear.

James always got used to a new timezone really quickly. Henfell asleep like a rock and slept for a few hours when he felt Percival get up. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep some more but it was getting cooler now and without Percy to warm him he even started to shiver a it. So when he heard the shower he yawned and got up himself.
He walked in the cabin and wrapped a blanket around him to warm up a bit.
"Can't sleep?" He asked sleepy to Percy. He always loved it how Percival looked right after a shower. His damp skin and still wet hair. He smiled and admired him for a moment.

"I was thinking we should make the phone call before it becomes too much later for us. Now seems like the most opportune time." And he had a better idea what he wanted to say. He was obviously bothered, however, because the lines in his forehead were more pronounced from the knitting of his brows.

"But love, did you even sleep? You said it yourself earlier that we should call tomorrow, because you might say thing you're gonna regret. Are you sure you want to do.it now?"

And with that he was wide awake again. Percivals worried look made him wonder...

"Why the rush?"

He nodded."Yes. Around five hours. From sunset until I took a shower." He smiled softly. "I don't want to wait either. Or them call us first for a meeting like they had suggested they would. I would rather what we need to say come first and let them process that before going further."

Percival began pulling out a pair of slacks and a comfortable shirt. It would make him presentable at least. "I've grown very tired of waiting, even for what seems like a short amount of time."

"You sound like me after I was awakened." He chuckeled. "Okay okay, lets make that call now."

He sighed and reluctantly walked to his suitcase and opened it, trying to find some clothes to make him look a bit decent. He smirked.
"But I win!"

He smiled. "You couldn't stand not having me with you, or living a lie with Charles. I completely understand."

Percival nodded. "Yes, you win. We can talk about what that means once we have finished talking with Arthur and Merlin."

"I cannot wait" he winked and put on a t shirt and boxers and grabbed his glasses. He sat down at the table so Merlin and Arthur wouldn't be able to see the rest of his body. He was so not in the mood to get properly dressed knowing he would take them off right after the call anyway.
"Ready?"

"You look so professional," he said with a smirk and the roll of his eyes. Percival knew he himself looked ever the beach bum: comfortable slacks and a white cotton shirt with the top buttons undone.

He sighed. "As I'll ever be." He tapped his glasses and made the call.

"Oh just look at yourself" he said right back at him. He ran his hands through his hair and tapped his glasses to join the call with Arthur and Merlin.
Arthur was surprised when he got the call.
"Hey, trouble in paradise?"

"It's called beach chic," he murmured and smiled at Arthur.

"Not at all. We are the happiest that we have been in about a century."

Merlin joined the conversation looking a little off. Percival couldn't even quite put a finger on how.

"Lancelot and I had a very specific reason for calling. We have discussed it and neither of us would like to continue the work we were doing before. We called to inform you and discuss options. We also have an idea about it."

Arthur chuckled as he straightend his own shirt.

Lancelot shook his head at Percivals comment about being chic, but then got serious and nodded in agreement to Percivals statement.

"Yes, after everything that happened the last few days, and now this holiday made us realize that we want our lives to take a different course. We do want to keep working and we think our experience coukd be valuable in finding the other knights."

Merlin's sweater was slightly bunched and his tie was not completely tucked under. It caused Percival to pause and stare at Merlin a moment. He wanted to burst out 'finally!' but he instead lightly but his tongue. Merlin seemed to read his mind and Merlin's cheeks blushed.

"We like being field operatives but we detest the killing. Instead we propose being your Knights abroad. We have 60% of our order already in Kingsman but there are a lot to be found, with the whole world to cover. You two have operations to be concerned with. We are happy to find the others."

Arthur saw how Percival looked at Merlin and he knew they knew. Lancelot also noticed it and smiled. He was happy for them. He'd seen it coming for a long time and especially now after awaking he was happy they finally went for it.
"So uhm... Kingsman, do you want to stay agents, or give up your positions as agents?"

[grailknight]

"We would like to remain agents. But we are agents serving a new mandate--the original mandate. We promote the preservation of life. There are others who can be tasked with the job to kill--when it is absolutely necessary. Lancelot and I have seen enough death and gore that came at our hands for this lifetime." He smiled softly. "You can give the others a plausible explanation. And that is not even to say we will not be taking Kingsman missions, but our primary mission is to find the others." But what to happen after they were found, he wondered. "We could send them to you unchanged or even bring them to their true path." As they were immortal and only their mortal life was going to die. "That would remain at your discretion. But Lancelot and I can act as intake officers as it were." He narrowed his eyes. "You both realise you need someone whom you can fully trust with this task." And his and Lancelot's devotion to Arthur's cause at times could verge on blinding.

Arthur listened to him and nodded in agreement. Lancelot and Percival had always been loyal to them and he couldn't imagine someone else who could do this task as well as them.

"We will still always stay loyal to you my king" Lancelot said. "But like Percival said. We've seen enough blood. We won't turn away if we can save people, but I'm not the same person that James is and I would feel much more comfortable with this task, than my regular work at Kingsman." He looked at Percival with a chuckle.

"Okay, I understand. We can talk about the details later" he looked at Merlin.

"Thank you for understanding. We talked a great deal and both of us, with the last lives came out changed. The preservation of life is so very important." Percival pressed his lips together. "But on that note, what is to be done about Eggsy and Roxy? They are the closest to all of us and they both have enough insight to discover something is amiss with all four of us."

Merlin looked at the other men, his gaze moving finally to Arthur. "I have a few suggestions," Merlin said, "but it's your call how they are to be handled."

Lancelot nodded. This life especially had been so good and he wanted to do everything to keep them together. He wanted to take Percival on that promised trip to the Ice Hotel, amd see the nothern lights. And he wanted to go with him to every city they always wanted to go to, without constantly having to watch over his shoulder or having to be ready for another job. The more he thought about it, and the more they talked about it made him realize that it was good. He had done his job as an agent. Now his works as a knight had started. Finding the others and helping them to find their true path. He was ready for it.
"Oh and what are your ideas Arthur? He asked. Merlin and Arthurs idea always meant a great deal to him and he would follow them without questioning.

[grailknight]

"We must use caution. Eggsy in particular has keen insight. I can summon them and share with them that Harry has been found. And then kill them. It needs to be quick and without any fuss." It would sound cold and callous to anyone outside but Arthur and he needed them and they were very accessable.

"Yes, Eggsy has a perfect eye to notice even the smallest change." Arthur said. Eggsy had been his choice and he took the boy under his wing and introduced him to Kingsman. Lee would have been proud of him.
"Okay Merlin, we should do this as soon as possible. Even before the meeting with the others so they won't spread their doubts among the others" Arthur said.

"Agreed," Merlin said with a nod. "Lancelot, Percival, now that I have my magic again, I can begin to compile a list of where the others are. Luckily we are drawn to one another, especially awoken." The missing others would unconsciously begin to seek them out. It was through the bond of oath, blood, and magic.

Percival smiled and put an arm around Lancelot. Very soon they would have their family again. Roxy was like Charles's daughter and yet the bond he had with his sister was so much more palatable. She was so passionate. Roxy was as well but there was a lot in her that was dimmed. Not so with his sister. She never held herself back from anything and was as much a knight as any of them were. The thought of his sister sent a small ache in his chest.

Lancelot nuzzled Percivals neck amd softly kissed him. He saw the look in his husbands eyes. "We're getting our family back" he said soft, happy knowing that he soon had hos son back, and Percival his sister.
He could feel it, that things were stirring. A soft pull, makjng him want to go right now and find the others.

[grailknight]

He nuzzled back and sighed. "Yes we are. Merlin, upon waking them up, can you please send our regards and tell them that we will be in touch with them." A part of him wanted to go back and be there for them, but another wanted to stay put. If they did come back just yet he had no idea how much time he would be spending around his sister and Lancelot be with Galahad. It was perhaps for the best that they remained away. Family was a major priority for them. Living a life of service and one of family. They were ever blessed to already be so connected. His sister and Galahad had as strong of a connection between them that existed between him and Lancelot.

"Very well then. We'll make sure to keep you updated" Arthur spoke. "It is good to have you on board with this. Together we can bring Camelot back." He looked at Merlin and then back at Lancelot and Percival "alright I'll talk with you soon. Merlin and I have some things to discus now on how to make it a smooth transition for Eggsy and Roxy"

Lancelot chuckled "okay, we talk later. It's good to see you two together" he couldn't help himself. The way they looked at each other reminded him of himself and Percival.

"Of course," Percival nodded, letting a hint of a smirk show as he was otherwise bitting his tongue. 'Mmm. Yes. We'll talk later."

Merlin gave them both a look, though Percival in particular. That made Percival tighten his fingers on Lancelot.

When the call ended, Percival broke into laughter, and relaxed his fingers on Lancelot's arm. "Oh my God." He was laughing so hard that he was crying.

Lancelot couldn't help himself. "Okay, have fun" he said squeezing Percivals hand before tapping his glasses to end the conversation. "Ooh those two!!!" He said burted out laughing.
He pulled Lancelot in his arms and laughed with him. It was such a relieve that Arthur and Merlin had agreed with them, and seeing them finally together but hiding it like teenagers was so funny that he couldn't stop laughing.

"One good shag and your entire life can change. How they have waited this long I can't understand. They have more self-control than I do. But then again I never saw the point in making excuses. They are happy. And it is very good to see that." He hugged Lancelot close to himself.

[immortalagent]

"Yes I can't even imagine how it.must have been for Merlin all this time. When I woke I just needed you with me, I couldn't wait. But Merlin... All this time. Ah, it's good to finally see them together. They deserve some happiness."

Now after the whole conversation he was wide awake. He took his shirt.off now that he no longer needed to look presentable.

"He compartmentalizes. And made himself happy with having Arthur in some capacity in his life." He started getting undressed.

"We know what we want. It would have hurt not to have me." The corner of his mouth twitched. "You wouldn't have been able to put up with Charles for very long."

"True, and they havent always been together in each life like we did. But still, it takes a great amount of selfcontrol. And I'm glad that we don't have that" he smirked and got up and pushed down his boxer.
"I hope you're not tired now. Because I am wide awake right now"

[grailknight]

"They needed more than Camelot to live for. Now us, we have always had our lives together. We want to travel together, love together. Help others together. It is a very different way of being. There is a reason we lost Camelot to begin with."

He watched Lancelot undress and chuckled. "Oh no. I am not going back to bed."
